Pre-employment testing is one of the safest drug abuse program meant for drug abuse prevention whereby the employer avoids hiring addicts. After an employee is hired, and then later on discovering their addictive behavior and having to pay for their drug abuse rehabs is not only expensive but a waste of time in terms of wrong hiring and requiring further re-hiring process. It is better to be safe in hiring only reliable employees in an early stage.
