The AlcoMate Premium AL7000 analyzes alcohol present in exhaled breath using an advanced oxide semiconductor sensor. After a disposable mouthpiece is attached, the user blows steadily into the device until the Active Pressure Sensor confirms that an adequate breath sample has been collected.
The breathalyzer then analyzes deep-lung air, where alcohol concentration closely reflects alcohol levels in the bloodstream. Within seconds, the device converts the breath alcohol concentration into an estimated Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) and displays the result on the large four-digit LCD screen.

When prompted, take a deep breath and blow steadily into the mouthpiece.
