The iScreen™ Urine Test Dx Drug Screen Square Cup uses lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay technology to qualitatively detect drugs and their metabolites in human urine. After the urine specimen is collected directly into the self-contained cup, the integrated test strips begin analyzing the sample for each targeted drug.
The device also performs Specimen Validity Testing by measuring Creatinine (CR), pH, and Oxidants (OX) to help determine whether the specimen appears normal or has potentially been diluted or chemically altered.
If the drug concentration is below the established screening cutoff level, both the Control (C) and Test (T) lines appear, indicating a negative result. If the drug concentration is equal to or greater than the cutoff level, only the Control (C) line appears, indicating a preliminary positive result.
Because this device provides preliminary screening results only, any positive finding should be confirmed using Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) or Liquid Chromatography/Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) before medical, legal, employment, or clinical decisions are made
Amphetamine is a prescription central nervous system (CNS) stimulant commonly prescribed for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and narcolepsy. It increases the activity of certain neurotransmitters in the brain, helping improve focus, attention, and alertness. However, amphetamine is also widely misused because of its stimulating effects and performance-enhancing properties.
Due to its abuse potential, amphetamine is routinely included in workplace, clinical, forensic, and rehabilitation drug testing programs.

A colored line appears in both the Control (C) and Test (T) regions for each drug. Even a faint Test (T) line should be interpreted as a negative result, indicating that the drug concentration is below the established screening cutoff level.
A colored line appears only in the Control (C) region, while no line appears in the corresponding Test (T) region. This indicates that the drug concentration may be at or above the screening cutoff level. Any preliminary positive result should be confirmed using Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) or Liquid Chromatography/Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) before medical, legal, employment, or clinical decisions are made.
If no Control (C) line appears, the test is invalid regardless of whether a Test line appears. Repeat the test using a new device and a fresh urine specimen
