The Buprenorphine (BUP) Drug Test Device uses a competitive binding immunoassay to detect Buprenorphine in human urine. Simply dip the absorbent end of the test device into the urine specimen for the recommended time, then place it on a clean, flat surface while the reaction develops. Results are typically available within 5 minutes.
This test provides a preliminary analytical result only. Any preliminary positive result should be confirmed using a laboratory confirmation method such as Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) or Liquid Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).

Buprenorphine (BUP) is a partial opioid agonist that is primarily prescribed to treat opioid use disorder (OUD) and manage moderate to severe chronic pain. It works by binding to opioid receptors in the brain, reducing opioid cravings and withdrawal symptoms while producing less euphoria than full opioid agonists such as heroin or morphine. This makes Buprenorphine an effective medication for Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs.
The Buprenorphine (BUP) Drug Test Device is designed to detect Buprenorphine in human urine at a 10 ng/mL screening cutoff, providing fast and reliable preliminary screening results for clinical, workplace, rehabilitation, and home drug testing applications.
igned to detect Buprenorphine in human urine at a 10 ng/mL screening cutoff, providing fast and reliable preliminary screening results for clinical, workplace, rehabilitation, and home drug testing applications.
Buprenorphine is an FDA-approved prescription medication used under medical supervision for several important healthcare applications, including:
Treatment of opioid use disorder (OUD)
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
Management of opioid withdrawal symptoms
Long-term opioid dependence therapy
Chronic pain management in selected patients
Reducing cravings and preventing opioid relapse
Because Buprenorphine has a lower risk of respiratory depression than many full opioid agonists, it is widely used as part of comprehensive addiction treatment programs.
Although Buprenorphine is an important treatment medication, it can still be misused or diverted. Some individuals take Buprenorphine without a prescription or use higher doses than prescribed to achieve opioid-like effects. It may also be combined with other central nervous system depressants, such as alcohol or benzodiazepines, increasing the risk of serious complications.
Long-term misuse may result in:
Physical dependence
Drug tolerance
Drowsiness
Dizziness
Nausea
Constipation
Respiratory depression (especially when combined with other sedatives)
Increased risk of overdose
For these reasons, Buprenorphine screening is commonly performed in rehabilitation centers, MAT programs, pain management clinics, hospitals, correctional facilities, and workplace drug testing programs.

Buprenorphine is generally detectable in urine for 3–7 days after the last use. Detection times may vary depending on dosage, duration of treatment, metabolism, kidney function, and frequency of use.
The Buprenorphine (BUP) Drug Test Device provides a fast, accurate, and convenient solution for detecting Buprenorphine in human urine. Featuring a 10 ng/mL screening cutoff, a simple dip-and-read procedure, and results available in approximately 5 minutes, it is ideal for medication-assisted treatment programs, rehabilitation centers, healthcare facilities, workplace drug screening, and home testing. Each test device is individually packaged for single-use convenience and delivers reliable preliminary screening results without requiring specialized laboratory equipment. As with all rapid immunoassay drug screening devices, any preliminary positive result should be confirmed using Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) or Liquid Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) before clinical, legal, or employment decisions are made.
The Buprenorphine (BUP) Drug Test Device is a rapid, one-step urine drug screening test designed for the qualitative detection of Buprenorphine (BUP) in human urine. Using a competitive binding immunoassay, the test provides reliable preliminary screening results at a 10 ng/mL cutoff concentration without requiring specialized laboratory equipment.
This easy-to-use single-panel drug test features a simple dip-and-read procedure and delivers accurate preliminary results in approximately 5 minutes. The Buprenorphine Drug Test Device is suitable for workplace drug testing, healthcare facilities, rehabilitation centers, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) programs, pain management clinics, law enforcement agencies, and home drug screening.

Two colored lines appear—one in the Control (C) region and one in the Test (T) region. Even a faint line in the Test (T) region should be interpreted as a negative result.
Only one colored line appears in the Control (C) region, while no line appears in the Test (T) region. This indicates that Buprenorphine may be present at or above the 10 ng/mL screening cutoff. Any preliminary positive result should be confirmed using Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) or Liquid Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).
If no colored line appears in the Control (C) region, the test is invalid, regardless of whether a Test line appears. Repeat the test using a new test device.
