The iScreen™ Urine Test Dx Drug Screen Square Cup uses lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay technology to qualitatively detect drugs and their metabolites in human urine. After the urine specimen is collected directly into the self-contained cup, the integrated test strips begin analyzing the sample for each targeted drug.
This configuration also performs Specimen Validity Testing by measuring selected urine integrity markers, including Creatinine (CR), pH, and Oxidants (OX). These indicators help determine whether the specimen appears normal or has potentially been diluted or chemically altered.
If the drug concentration is below the established screening cutoff, both the Control (C) and Test (T) lines appear, indicating a negative result. If the drug concentration is at or above the cutoff level, only the Control (C) line appears, indicating a preliminary positive result.
Because this device provides preliminary screening results only, any positive finding should be confirmed using Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) or Liquid Chromatography/Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) before medical, legal, or employment decisions are made

A colored line appears in both the Control (C) and Test (T) regions for each drug. Even a faint Test (T) line should be interpreted as a negative result, indicating that the drug concentration is below the screening cutoff.
A colored line appears only in the Control (C) region, while no line appears in the corresponding Test (T) region. This indicates that the drug concentration may be at or above the cutoff level. All preliminary positive results should be confirmed using GC-MS or LC-MS/MS.
If no Control (C) line appears, the test is invalid regardless of the Test line. A new test should be performed using a fresh device and specimen
This configuration includes Specimen Validity Testing (SVT) to help identify urine samples that may have been diluted, substituted, or chemically altered before testing.
Measures creatinine concentration to help determine whether the urine specimen is excessively diluted.
Measures the acidity or alkalinity of the urine specimen. Abnormal pH values may indicate specimen adulteration.
Detects oxidizing agents or bleach that may be added to urine in an attempt to interfere with drug test results.
