The PRISM Component is compatible with:

It is specifically designed for the AL7000 and should only be used with compatible AlcoMate Premium devices.
The PRISM Component contains the oxide semiconductor alcohol sensor responsible for detecting alcohol molecules in a breath sample. During each test, exhaled breath passes through the sensor where alcohol vapors are measured and converted into an electronic signal. The breathalyzer then processes this information to calculate and display an estimated Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC).
As with all alcohol sensors, performance gradually declines after extended use. Rather than sending the entire breathalyzer for servicing or recalibration, users simply replace the PRISM Component with a new precalibrated module, restoring the device to optimal operating condition.

Replacing the PRISM Component is quick and simple.
Turn off the AlcoMate Premium AL7000.
Open the Easy-Replace Sensor Panel on the back of the breathalyzer.
Carefully remove the existing PRISM Sensor Module.
Insert the new PRISM Component into the connector, ensuring it is securely seated.
Close the sensor panel.
Power on the device and verify normal operation.
